Kale Crasin Salad

Use one of our 5 varieties of baby kale in this fresh salad

5oz. Kale (chopped into 1″ thick strips)

1/2 cup crasins

1/2 cup sunflower seeds (or chopped pecans)

1/2 cup bacon crumbs

1/3 cup red onion (finely chopped)

Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sugar

2 tbls apple cider vinegar

Salt & pepper

Toss salad in dressing and let chill for 4 hours before serving.

Market update

We’ve enjoyed seeing folks at the Watertown and Clayton markets! Planting has been a slow and delayed process this year but little-by-little we will be bringing more and more fresh, organically grown produce from our garden. 

Lord willing, next week we will have:

Spinach, kale, radishes, lettuce mix, head lettuce, golden beets, swiss chard & rhubarb

And from our kitchen I hope to bring Spelt Bread, Challah, Sourdough, scones, granola bars and (if time allows…Which it often doesn’t​…) GF bread, GF peanut butter balls and chocolate chip brownies.
